I’m Kathy, nice to meet you!

When my mom, Sylvia, passed down her family recipe for Congo Squares to me years ago, this simple mixture of ingredients awakened something in my spirit. I discovered that baking sweet treats made my heart sing.

Baking cookies became a way for me to package a hug into a few sweet bites. In 2010, I launched Heartsong Cookies and found that my passion is connecting with friends and neighbors at local Farmer’s Markets and cafes as I deliver cookies to those I love!

I’m Mike, your cookie scientist.

When my wife, Kathy, decided she wanted to bake cookies for a living, I fully supported her efforts. As a scientist by trade, I enjoy experimenting with and carefully combining the ingredients necessary to create the dough that makes our cookies so wonderfully unique.

When I’m not mixing it up, you can usually find me at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market on Saturday and Maitland on Sunday. Stop by and say “hi” to the cookie guy!
